Andy Meets Adobe and a S.W.A.T. Team…
Posted on May 18th, 2012 by admin
Continuing his series of posing with signs, its our CTO Andy checking in from the Valley. This time he’s looking very cool prior to his meeting with Adobe.
We’ve enjoyed receiving Andy’s updates through the week, but when he sends photos like this we do worry. He’s a bit of a revolutionist our Andy (we all are). What did he do to cause a S.W.A.T. Team call-out…?

ZDNet Has TheAppBuilder Top Of The Pile
Posted on April 27th, 2012 by admin
ZDNet’s Heather Clancy has given TheAppBuilder a great write-up in a feature reviewing mobile app builders.
The AppBuilder: Created by JamPot Technologies, this is a service that offers application templates that help small businesses create native applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. You can get as simple or as custom as you want. The service automatically submits your application to the iTunes App Store, Google Play market and Windows Phone Marketplace. Standard tabs include integration code for YouTube and RSS feeds. Later in 2012, JamPot plans support for features that let you include in-app advertising, WordPress integration and HTML5. You can build and preview an app for free; after you submit it for distribution, it will cost you $29 per month, per app under the standard plan.

TheAppBuilder ‘Blew My Mind’!
Posted on April 17th, 2012 by admin
TheAppBuilder’s Matthew David recently gave an interview to Build Mobile’s Zsombor Markus. This is a great interview, particularly for developers as it goes ‘under the hood’ of TheAppBuilder. We quite like the opening paragraph…
“TheAppBuilder is a new online service that helps you create native Android, iOS, and Windows Phone applications (yes, all at once) in a matter of a few minutes. Moreover, as soon as you pay the standard setup price, it also gets published in the 3 major marketplaces. I see you app developers laughing it off, and so did I until I gave it a shot. The product simply blew my mind. I encourage you to try it yourself or see one of the example apps.”

JamPot Go Large in Texas
Posted on April 12th, 2012 by admin
Ulster Business magazine editor Symon Ross has published a very nice article about JamPot. Here are a few choice quotes…
“A healthy contingent of Northern Irish tech companies hit this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive conference in Austin, Texas, with Belfast-based JamPot gaining particular recognition for its product TheAppBuilder.
“…But perhaps the firm that gained most visibility from the event were JamPot, the mobile software developer based on the Holywood Road in Belfast.
“That was partly because UK Trade & Investment chose its flagship mobile solution, TheAppBuilder, to represent the UK mobile industry at its UK Demo Day, which let the JamPot team demo its product to key industry contacts ahead of the main event.”

JamPot @ Google
Posted on March 28th, 2012 by admin
James and Mikey had a series of meetings at Google a couple of days ago and they took some snaps of the tech giant’s funky self serve coffee shop. We hope there were no whispers of “I could get used to working here…”
