Putting apps to work
Posted on May 13th, 2013 by admin

As featured in this month’s Business Edit magazine, Jonny Kirk Director of Enterprise Mobility for TheAppBuilder, made a splash at the recent “Technology at work” event in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall. Jonny kicked off with an introduction to the benefits of enterprise mobility, before guiding the audience through a number of use cases in series of workshops before rounding the day off in a panel discussion.
We saw high levels of interest and demand for mobile solutions from the Belfast audience, mirroring the worldwide demand we are currently witnessing with many delegates approaching us afterwards to say it was their favourite track & among their top business priorities.
If you are organising an event & would like a speaker on Enterprise Mobility drop Jonny an email: jonathan.kirk@jampot.ie

Apps World 2012 was a Blast
Posted on October 9th, 2012 by admin
Thanks to everyone who came to visit our stand last week at Apps World in London. We were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of visitors and the reception that greeted TheAppBuilder.
As well as being able to build your app on the spot we got great ideas for new features to weave into our future roadmap. Remember, the current road map has been published on the blog, and you can suggest and vote for the new features you would like to see on our Roadmap Forum.
James was a big hit at the Microsoft Theatre, presenting on how every man, woman and child can build a Windows 8 app using TheAppBuilder.
I think the most exciting moments of the show were when people came and showed us the apps they have been building using TheAppBuilder. Everything from apps for bands, sports clubs and schools, to businesses such as restaurants, weight loss coaching, and even a haunted house were shown to us by their creators!
We’ll be on the road again soon, watch this space for an announcement very shortly. Thank you for all your support at Apps World 12. Remember, you can get in touch any time by emailing us at support@theappbuilder.com or tweet us @theappbuilder.

Come and See Us at Apps World, London
Posted on September 20th, 2012 by admin
That’s right, the JamPot team is going back on tour with TheAppBuilder. Apps World is one of the leading events in the mobile industry. This year’s event in Earls Court is set to be the biggest yet with over 5000 developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, platform owners and industry professionals in attendance.
The entire team is going to be camped out so there will be no better time to meet us face-to-face where we can run you through all our recent updates, and show you sneak previews of the raft of features just about to be released. This really is an exciting time for TheAppBuilder and we’d like to share it with you too. Come along to stand 145 on October 2nd or 3rd – if you’re in any doubt about the location just follow the red glow – as you may know by now we don’t do subtle branding!
If you are a member of the media, potential partner or a tech enthusiast and want to set up an appointment for a demo or interview, just click here to be taken to our WuFoo booking form.
Looking forward to seeing you very soon.

TheAppBuilder Chosen To Represent U.K. Mobile Industry at SXSW
Posted on March 8th, 2012 by admin

Viva La Revolution! And we’re on the march again. Last week Barcelona and Mobile WorldCongress, this week South By Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas.
Mikey Barr, our COO and Matthew David, VP Sales are on a mission to storm SXSW and school the U.S. in how to build an app and have it on your phone in two minutes!
To make matters even better, UK Trade & Investment have selected TheAppBuilder to represent the UK mobile industry at SXSW. The UK Demo Day, which is being held in the SXSW Startup Village, provides TheAppBuilder team the opportunity to demo this ground breaking product to a select VIP audience of potential clients, media, capital providers and industry contacts, before opening the doors to general conference attendees.
The UK SXSW Demo Day will provide SXSW attendees with an opportunity to try out the best start-up technology coming out of the UK. To celebrate TheAppBuilder representing the UK mobile industry, we are giving all visitors to the UK Demo Day the opportunity to have an app published to the major app stores for only US$1. Visit TheAppBuilder at the SXSW Startup Village in the Hilton Austin, which is directly across from the Austin Convention Center on Sunday 11 March at 3.30pm to pick up your US$1 promotional card.
If you catch up with Mikey or Matt during SXSW (check in at the UKTI stand #1107-1214) make sure to ask them for a revolution T-shirt and $1 promo card. The guys will be at loads of the parties too, including:
